Angmering-on-Sea is steeped in history. It was originally proposed as a 'sporting garden village' and in 1913 the local area was transformed into Angmering-on-Sea – the name 'stolen' from the village the other side of the railway station. During the inter war period - the 'Riviera' interlude - it was a small but very smart seaside resort, boasting lidos, tennis and country clubs with croquet & bowls and was often visited by the Queen who came to watch international standard tournaments.
Now a private secure residential family orientated estate, quiet in winter and busy with wet sports on the summer weekends, Angmering-on-Sea is only an hour and a half from central London and readily accessible from Gatwick and Heathrow making the New England Beach House the ideal luxury holiday house to enjoy this secluded, barely discovered stretch of the Sussex coast that caters for all needs – be it a private weekend, family gathering, bucket & spade holiday, or romantic getaway.
